Two Bedroom Red Brick House for Sale in Bulgaria This is a lovely 2 bedroomed house situated in a quiet village about 19km off the main road from Stara Zagora through to Plovdiv and Sofia (Chirpan road). It is perched on a small hill with good views over surrounding fields yet only a 2 minute walk from train station. The train station is a main junction and so you can pretty much get the train to anywhere in Bulgaria from here. There is a regular bus service to Stara Zagora also. It is about a 30 minute drive from the city, and the road has recently been resurfaced although you should still expect the odd pot hole in places and about 20 minutes on the train.

Travelling to and from Bulgaria with dogs I have travelled from Bulgaria to France a couple of times with my dogs and back again. I have done the 'over land route', taking the ferry from Vidin across the Danube and then through Romania, Hungary, Austria, Germany and Italy to France and also travelling south to Greece, across mainland Greece and ferry from Igoumenista to Ancona and then across the top of the 'leg of Italy' and following the Mediterranean coast into France, past Monaco. Personally, I much prefer the route via Greece (although depending on where you were heading this could prove a longer journey), but the brand new motorway across Greece

Bulgarian Builders – to be avoided at all costs I have now spent the last 2 months cleaning up the mess left behind by the last lot of Bulgarian builders. It seems they have never heard of masking tape and all the windows had paint clarted all over the frames and speckles all over the actual glass, where they had sprayed the external paint onto the render and never bothered to cover the windows. The actual paint work inside the house left a lot of be desired as well. Some patches had been painted in an entirely different colour while the paint either was slopped all over the skirting boards or stopped several centimetres above. All the showers require se

The International Law Partnership, headed by John Howell, is closing its doors citing the economic climate and the fact that many of its clients, developers in Bulgaria, are going bust and therefore not paying their bills. Started in 1979, the firm entered international property law work in 1986 and became very involved in property development issues in Bulgaria. However, in recent times, there has been some disquiet on certain forums about the fees charged and the work done, most notably with regard to disgruntled clients of the former developer and agent, Bulgarian Dreams. Long Term Rentals Available In Bulgaria Renting for a few months is a great way of experiencing life in Bulgaria without committing yourself fully to a way of life that may not suit you or may not be as expected. If you are considering buying in Bulgaria with a view to moving there permanently, I would suggest renting for a minimum of 12 months so that you experience the hot summers and the cold winters and it gives you the chance to check your finances will be able to cope. I recently had tenants move out of one of my places without notice and leaving behind large bills because they found that Bulgaria was not the dirt cheap place many expect it to be
